Severe anxiety is presenting in most children and young people as referral numbers double, but you can help

During these uncertain and unnerving times referrals into our service have doubled

We are currently receiving over 40 referrals per week, compared with an average of 19 over a year ago. Many of these children and young people are presenting with severe anxiety and other complex issues such as eating disorders, self-harming, and suicidal ideation.

Our services continue to help children, young people, and their families, with complex needs to heal and recover from distress and trauma. The forecast predicts a long-term impact on mental wellbeing, and we know that one size of Mental Health service does not fit all. This is where you, our supporters can help…

…We invite you to be a GEM (GiveEveryMonth)

We currently have just 20 GEMs but what these committed supporters do by ‘Giving Every Month’ is help children to find the treasure within. From just £2 every month we invite you to be a GEM and a lifeline to our most vulnerable service users with complex emotional needs. Read more.

With a full complement of Trauma specialists at Kids Inspire, we remain committed to doing what we can to help children and young people to recover from adverse experiences, now and for as long as we are needed.
