Be a GEM and give every month

Help us unlock the treasure within our children

Could you help us by becoming a GEM? (Giving Every Month) A regular monthly gift of just £3 per month can help a child navigate emerging mental health issues and to find new ways to cope when life gets tough.

Our GEMs are our committed supporters who understand the struggle children are experiencing.

Life is tough right now and overwhelming feelings can be too much for a young person just trying to get through each day.

Trauma often makes life difficult for young people - they may feel unable to move forward and have no plans for the future.

One in three mental health problems stems from traumatic experiences in childhood - relationship abuse, anxiety, bullying or neglect, separation anxiety or significant loss.

Often with a little help and support a child can move forward from trauma, and be more resilient in challenging times.

A child we know, needs your help. Shine Bright, become a GEM and help children to thrive.

Thank you

How will you benefit from being a Kids Inspire GEM?

Being a GEM is not just about Kids Inspire and the children we work with. It is also about the satisfaction you will receive from doing something life-changing for someone else.

Quarterly we will email you, offering you an update on how your regular donation is impacting the children we work with.

Meet the children and families we work with

Ravi

Ravi and his family were stuck. They received a treatment plan to help them all to move past their trauma as a family.

This film is their story.

Josh

Josh was bullied in school, and the experience left him stuck. A trained volunteer mentor helped him to ‘get out of the house, and to feel more comfortable in his own skin.’

“They helped me with my social anxiety, my depression, and the ability to make friends.”

Raj

Raj had suffered from exposure to Domestic Abuse when he was just a toddler. This exposure resulted in him experiencing early life trauma.

His early experiences presented later on in his life when Raj turned eight years old.
