Children and young people

We provide mental health and emotional wellbeing support for children and young people from 4-18.

Our qualified, experienced therapists have been trained in a broad range of therapies and work creatively to encourage body and mind reconnection. The focus is on the strengths of the child, their uniqueness, family and other relationships.

Working together to nurture resilience

Family involvement is an essential part of Kids Inspire’s delivery. It provides lasting sustainable outcomes for all. This is Ravi’s story.

After an assessment period with an experienced member of our clinical team, each young person is offered a bespoke treatment package. Depending on what suits the child and family best, this will either be at our headquarters in Essex, onsite at school, in community centres or online.

Why are children and young people referred?

An animation about Kids Inspire and our services.

Kids Inspire was founded to fill a gap in mental health services for children, young people and their families. We meet children and young people for different reasons:

Children and young people...

...may feel overwhelmed by negative feelings and a lack of coping strategies.

Children and young people...

...may have felt socially isolated and lacked a sense of belonging and a support network.

Children and young people..

... may have found it difficult to self-regulate and make positive choices.

Children and young people...

...may have been struggling with arguments and communication within the family.

My daughter is happier in the day to day and much more mature in her responses and her conversations.
