Kids Inspire in Suffolk
In 2024, we extended our services to Ipswich in Suffolk, responding to the growing need for mental health support in local schools and communities.
Our dedicated team is now actively working alongside families, educators, and community leaders to create a supportive environment for children and young people to achieve their full potential.
Children’s mental health services in Suffolk
At Kids Inspire, we are passionate about empowering children and young people to overcome challenges, heal from trauma, and thrive in their communities.
As a leading children’s mental health charity, we specialise in providing free, expert trauma support to those who might not otherwise afford it.
At Kids Inspire we understand how hard it can be to manage family dynamics, especially when mental health concerns are involved. We work closely with parents, carers, and children to address emotional challenges, strengthen family bonds, and build resilience for the future.
What we offer in Suffolk
By meeting children, young people and families where they are — be it in schools, community centres, or other accessible settings — we strive to break down barriers to mental health support.
Our tailored projects in Suffolk focus on:
Therapeutic services:
We provide creative therapies for children in schools or within their local communities, offering 10 to 40 sessions tailored to each child’s unique needs. These sessions help children process difficult emotions and to build self-confidence and resilience.
Our therapy addresses a wide range of emotional and behavioural challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and loss.
Recognising that every child is unique, we ensure a personalised approach for every child referred to us, creating a supportive environment that fosters healing and growth.
Family support:
Family support is often a vital part of our tailored approach.
Support offers a safe, non-judgemental space for parents and carers to learn skills that improve communication and relationships.
Through group or one-to-one sessions, we advocate for the child while providing interactive, educational support. The sessions empower families with the skills and confidence to offer further valuable support to their child’s mental health.
Community outreach and engagement:
We believe in the power of local communities to drive change. Through school assemblies and workshops, school partnerships, and community events, we connect with children, parents, and caregivers to offer mental health resources, build resilience, and promote wellbeing.
By providing a professional friendship and emotional support, we help families build the skills and confidence they need to nurture healthy, happy relationships.
Together, we build brighter futures
At Kids Inspire, we are committed to creating a positive impact in the lives of children and families. By supporting mental health and wellbeing, we help families thrive and build stronger connections within their local communities.
