Case studies

Kids Inspire has been empowering children, young people and their families since 2007

Read the stories and anecdotes of children, young people, families and our therapists.

Therapy Case Studies

Therapy focuses on the strengths of the child and the family to nurture resilience. Read here about some of the experiences children young people and families have had recently.

Mentoring Case Studies

The Mentor and Mentee relationship captures the possibility of transformation. Sometimes in life we expect ‘quick fixes’, but it’s rare that we get them.  To hang in there and relish the small changes in a relationship is vital.

“Meeting through audio and video is helping a lot. I am grateful because if I couldn’t speak to someone then I feel I would be very depressed and not the way I am today.”

Christmas Appeal Case Studies

For the past 10 years, with your ongoing support, we have successfully run a Christmas Appeal to source, wrap and deliver presents, and hampers, to referred children and their families in Essex.

“For too long, her negative experiences, have kept her almost totally imprisoned by fear. This project has planted the seeds of optimism and aspiration in Emma once again.”

— Parent of Service User

Creative Group Work Case Studies

Our group therapeutic experiences, like our Sing My Own Song project, help participants grow in confidence and express themselves creatively.

With online therapy now tested, I think there will be opportunities to work with more isolated people, or possibly parents who have otherwise struggled to get to head office.

Coaching case studies

Coaching aims to develop positive outcomes for young people and the approach is always underpinned by the promotion of wellbeing and the prevention of mental health problems.
