Karl & family

Karl is nine years old and lives with his father after his mother sadly died of a terminal illness recently. He also has older siblings who no longer live at home. For most of his life, Karl lived in a happy, stable family home with a strong attachment between him, his parents, and siblings.

This significant traumatic event of losing a parent left the whole family devastated and needing comfort. As a result, the school supported Karl’s father, and last year, Karl and his family received a special Christmas gift from Kids Inspire’s Christmas Appeal.

The donations from Kids Inspire were just a small but important part of the work ensuring that this family felt supported during the difficult Christmas period and beyond.
