Isla
Isla lives with her mum and her four siblings. Her mum is a single parent and has unfortunately been subject to many episodes of domestic violence, which Isla and her siblings witnessed. Isla’s school have worked hard to support her, her siblings and her mum recently with their emotional and mental wellbeing. Whilst also working with her mum to ensure that Isla and her siblings are kept safe from significant harm.
Last Christmas, the gifts kindly donated by Kids Inspire to Isla, and her family brought them some small joy and comfort after a difficult period. The school continued to support Isla and her family after the festive season to ensure any appropriate trauma-related needs were met.
