The Mayor of Chelmsford is hosting another winning quiz evening in support of her Charities, which includes us!

We love Musicals – Sunday 24 March

The Mayor of Chelmsford is hosting a one-off Musical extravaganza – ‘We Love Musicals’.

This unique one-off event will see all five Musical Societies in Chelmsford; Chelmsford Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society; Chelmsford Young Generation Amateur Musical Society; Essex Police Musical Society; Springers; and Trinity Methodist Music and Drama come together to perform. 

They will showcase many musical numbers from their past, present and future repertoire. This concert is guaranteed to leave you with a song in your heart.

Our delectable spring lunch and fashion show will be an event to look forward to with a two-course lunch, glass of fizz and a goody bag what is not to like?

Swimarathon – 15-17 March

Yet another challenge to whet your appetite – 
South Woodham Ferrers Rotary Club are organising a Swimarathon in support of charities like us!

We are CALLING OUT to our supporters to rally up interest for a #TeamKidsInspire team. Please email katharine@kidsinspire.org.uk or DM us if you’re interested.

All ages welcome! 
Teams of up to six sponsored swimmers (eight for teams of under eights)
Teams swim for a total of 55 minutes collectively

Brentwood half marathon or Fun run – 17 March

This popular half marathon will challenge to run just over 13 miles on a route that will take you through Brentwood High Street and surrounding villages.

The Fun run can be set at a pace that suits you and at just under 3 miles is a challenge that will set young and old hearts racing.

Pure Chelmsford Charity quiz – Thursday, 25 April

The Pure Chelmsford Charity Quiz brings together teams for a fun evening of playful rivalry and will provide you with the opportunity to pit your wits against other local businesses to be crowned quiz champion! Let the competition commence – come and take on last year’s winning team!

 Doors will open at 6pm and the quiz starts at 7pm

 £50 per team which includes a food platter, and a fully licensed bar is also available

Classic Cars – ‘Wings and Big Wheel Rally’ – Sunday 28 April 

Starting from the Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, up to 300 classic cars will drive a 55-mile journey through the Essex countryside to the final destination of The Museum of Power in Langford.

Owners of Classic Cars are encouraged to enter the drive for £20 per car.

Closing date for entries is Friday 5th April 2019

Great Baddow Races – Sunday 19 May

Great Baddow Races, organised by Chelmsford Mildmay and Rivermead Rotary Clubs, could be an ideal opportunity for you to challenge yourself and raise funds at the same time.

This year is the 36th year of this BARR Gold Standard 10-mile Road Race for serious runners and there is also a 2-mile Fun Run for juniors and Families to enter.

Races start time: 11am (arrival from 9.30am)
