Elizabeth II: 1926-2022

Kids Inspire extends our deepest sympathies to the Royal Family on the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

“A cherished Sovereign and much-loved Mother” (King Charles III), for 70 years the Queen embodied selfless duty and service. She offered the nation, the Commonwealth and beyond a sense of calm constancy, stability and unity – something in which we could all trust.

Sue Bell OBE, CEO and Clinical Director of Kids Inspire, said today, “Kids inspire received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service* in 2020 and her passing is deeply felt by us all.”

The Award was presented by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, Jennifer Tolhurst, and we join her in the sentiment she expressed earlier today:

“We look back with deep gratitude and we look forward to offering our support and loyalty to The King.”

*The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS) was created in 2002 to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and aims to recognise outstanding work by volunteer groups to benefit their local communities.
