Joining Kids Inspire

Induction

On joining Kids Inspire you will be invited to an induction to familiarise yourself with the location and company policies including health and safety policy.  Clinical staff will be instructed in clinical admin processes.

All staff are asked to undertake online safeguarding training when commencing work with Kids Inspire and to undertake an enhanced DBS check.  Clinical staff will be required to hold professional indemnity insurance.

Training and support

Opportunities exist for staff to be supported in their personal development related to their work roles.  Application should be made via your manager and/or the Clinical Director/CEO.

Therapists/counsellors will be allocated a case manager who will provide support and meet with them on a regular basis.

Pension

Staff will be provided with details of a workplace pension subject to eligibility.

Sick Pay

Staff are eligible to sick pay in addition to statutory sick pay as per company policy.

Annual leave

Staff working full-time will be eligible for 30 days holiday per year (this includes bank holidays), pro-rated for part-time staff.  You will also be entitled to additional time off for wellbeing days and service days subject to hours worked and length of service.

There is free car parking available on-site.

How to apply

Please email recruitment@kidsinspire.org.uk attaching a copy of your CV.  You will be asked to complete an application form relevant to the role you’re applying for.

Selection process

Candidates that are shortlisted for an interview will be invited to attend either online or at the Kids Inspire offices at Hargrave House, Great Baddow. This will normally be with two interviewers. Candidates may be asked to attend for a second interview.

Candidates who are not shortlisted for interview will be notified by email.

Interview

If we invite you to an interview we’ll email you a confirmation and details of where you need to arrive.  Please bring with you your identification to confirm your eligibility to work in the UK and a copy of your DBS, if portable.  If you do not hold a portable DBS please bring along three pieces of identification from the attached list (link to document attached) to enable the completion of a DBS check for a successful candidate. As a charity we are unable to bear the cost of new DBS checks for sessional staff and the cost will be passed to the candidate.  Please also bring original academic qualifications in relation to the role. 

All candidates are notified by email as soon as possible after the interview process.

Expenses 

Kids Inspire does not reimburse any form of Recruitment or Interview expenses, it is the candidate's decision to apply and attend any interview to which they are invited.
