Family emotional safety webinar to offer parents and carers ‘tools’ for supporting anxious children
Media Release: A webinar aimed at creating an emotional safety nest and ‘tools’ for the family is being offered for free to individuals, parents and carers by children’s mental health charity Kids Inspire.
Delivered online by trauma specialist and child and adolescent psychotherapist Sue Bell, the session is about finding comfort and safety – both components that are necessary for healthy, happy lives and healthy relationships.
The webinar, on Tuesday 15 September at 6pm, is being offered as part of Kids Inspire’s, Week of Wellbeing and is just one of many resources and wellbeing webinars that is being shared online between the 10-16 September to positively enhance emotional wellbeing for both parent and child.
Sue Bell, Kids Inspire’s Clinical Director and CEO, said: “A child’s emotional wellbeing is important, now more than ever. During our week of wellbeing our expert team have worked on some unique resources for wellbeing inspiration and we have some live online workshops that we look forward to delivering.
Sue went on to say: “It is not by accident that our annual Week of Wellbeing has coincided with the big return to school. This year, in particular, we are primed ready for action and hope that all we offer during our week of awareness will help to reassure parents and carers of the professionalism and experience that our unique team can offer.”
