Essex Tier 2 (High Risk) – Kids Inspire’s response

Following the Government’s announcement that the County of Essex will be placed on Tier 2 (High Risk) restrictions from this Saturday (17 October), there will be implications to the delivery of services once again at Kids Inspire.

Mental health services can and will continue, offering service users a hybrid approach of online and face-to-face – adapting where possible to the needs of the child, young person or family receiving support.

Prior to any face-to-face appointment, all service users will be offered the choice of online therapeutic support. Additionally, they will have to be symptom-free and complete a risk-assessment check-in before any and every session – this will apply to our clinical delivery team and mentors too.

The services that Kids Inspire offer are needed now more and we will continue to be available throughout the pandemic.
