Cookbook and moustaches for marvellous community fundraisers

We are so grateful to our supporters who are always surprising us by finding new and thoughtful ways of fundraising in support of the Kids Inspire Community.

Kevin, a local supporter who lives in Clacton has turned his hobby of cooking into a creative fundraiser for Kids Inspire.

“Cooking is my hobby and I’m currently training to get into becoming a qualified chef.  I post pictures each day on Facebook and have developed quite a following.  So, I thought I could do some good and raise money for charity. I’m not a parent myself but what your charity stands for is close to my heart as my ex-partners daughter suffered a traumatic experience and battles with her own mental health issues.

The cookbooks

“I’ve worked on two digital pdf cookbooks, adding all my own pictures and recipes. I then shared on Facebook and in response, people have sent me their email address to receive a copy.  I set up a Just Giving page alongside details of what Kids Inspire do and I am delighted with how it’s going. I’m planning to continue for a few more weeks.”

Please email Kevin directly, for a copy of his delicious cookbook.

Plume school staff grow Mo’s for Kids Inspire

The Plume School in Maldon took us by surprise when they told us about all the moustaches that are being grown in support of local Kids!

This is what they said: “We are growing moustaches in November for Kids Inspire because as local educators, we want to support local kids.”

Thank you, Plume School!

You can find their Just Giving page here.
