5 ways to support children’s mental health charity Kids Inspire

Want to support a children’s mental health charity and not sure where to begin? Below are 5 ways you can support Kids Inspire from getting involved in your local community to taking on your very own fundraising challenge! Supporting us has never been so easy and some of the ways won’t cost you a thing. Together every fundraiser’s support gets us closer to reaching more young people and families, so please help us today.

1. Get involved in the local community

Did you know you can support Kids Inspire just by shopping in your local community? The Co-op Local Community Fund allows customers to choose a local cause to support so you can simply support as you spend.

Have you seen the Tesco Community Grants in Tesco? Otherwise known as the blue token scheme. These tokens allow local shoppers to vote for a community initiative to win vital funds. All you need to do is vote for us with a blue token when you see Kids Inspire in a local Tesco. You will see Kids Inspire in Tesco supermarkets around Essex. You can vote at Tesco in Braintree, Dunmow and Maldon until 30 June 2023.

2. Support us as a business

Are you a business looking for a charity to support? There are many different ways you could support us from a one-off fundraiser to continuous support by choosing us as your ‘Charity of the Year’. We have been supported by many businesses over the years. Laser Electrical recently funded much needed therapy equipment, Pinney Talfourd Solictors did a skydive in aid of Kids Inspire and Utilize have supported us in various ways since 2020 including sponsoring our Easter lunch club.

3. Challenge yourself to fundraise

Sometimes we all need a challenge, and taking on a challenge in aid of a charity is a great way to motivate yourself. You can join one of our Kids Inspire challenges or set up a Just Giving page and create your own. Could you challenge yourself to take part in our 2023 Mile Cycle Challenge in September?

 4. Attend a fundraising event

Our dedicated fundraising team are always working hard behind-the-scenes to create new fundraising events. This year we held a very successful Afternoon Tea at the Roslin Beach Hotel in March and this month we have our sold-out May Ball at Pontlands Park Hotel. We have lots more events coming up this year including the return of our Pre Loved to Re Loved in June and Bingo in the Barn in September.

5. Engage with us on social media

Okay so this one doesn’t cost you anything! Did you know that we are on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram? By following, sharing and engaging with us on these platforms it helps us to raise the profile of our charity. In fact, the algorithm favours commenting, sharing and saving, over ‘likes’. All of this helps our content get pushed and seen by a wider audience which means more support for Kids Inspire!

We value all support, no matter how big or small. You can always read more about how this support helps our services.
