JOB AD FOR CLINICAL ADMIN SUPPORT ASSISTANT

 

Kids Inspire, an Essex based children’s charity, require a Clinical Admin Support Assistant to work at their Head Office in Chelmsford.

The successful applicant will report to the Clinical Admin Supervisor and will be required to work with the Clinical Team Manager, Clinical Co-ordinators, Clinicians and Service Users.

Main activities

To provide general administrative support to include but not be limited to:

  • Diary management
  • Correspondence
  • Emails
  • Filing
  • Telephone work
  • General admin tasks
  • Support and cover for Clinical administrators

Person specification

Able to demonstrate:

  • Professional manner
  • Proven excellent administrative experience
  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated
  • An eye for detail
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Position details:

 Hours 15-20 hours per week, to be discussed at interview.  Ability to work Saturday mornings.

Salary £14,625 – £18,157 full-time, to be pro-rated according to agreed hours and dependent on experience.

Marketing Communications Officer

Are you looking for an exciting next step in your marketing and communications career?

Kids Inspire, a Chelmsford based children’s charity, requires a Marketing and Communications Officer.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. Salary to be discussed at interview and dependent on experience.

Reporting to the Fundraising and Communications Manager, the principle role is to create, implement and sustain a Marcoms plan that will focus on promoting the work of Kids Inspire and support/raise awareness for its fundraising efforts in the consumer and corporate arenas.

The key duties are as follows:

Communications

Provide communications and marketing support across all Kids Inspire departments

  • Produce and edit materials for external and internal audiences
  • Develop promotional materials including a supporters’ newsletter, electronic communications, publications and resources
  • Review material on a regular basis
  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure Kids Inspires operational readiness for GDPR

Brand

  • Act as a brand champion to ensure consistent branding is used across the charity
  • Help maintain and build reputation
  • Plan/create multi-media communications materials

Digital

  • Develop, manage and update content for the website
  • Maintain social media accounts
  • Plan and create multi-media communications materials

Press

  • Ensure consistent branding is used including key messaging
  • Help maintain and build reputation
  • Plan/create multi-media communications material
  • Maintain library system for press cuttings and monitor

 

The successful candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Strong strategic skills
  • Excellent experience of digital marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver key messages in a variety of ways to different audiences
  • Ability to plan, balance and manage competing priorities
  • Proactive and creative thinker with the ability to develop and implement ideas with a passion for communications
  • Experience of social media platforms and content management
  • Experience of producing press releases, articles, newsletters, leaflets and presentations
  • Ability to maintain own technical and professional competence whilst sharing and distributing best practice with others
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher
  • Experience of website content management systems
  • To actively seek and support volunteers

Desirable:

  • Professional qualification in communications and/or marketing such as Master’s degree, IoLC accredited diploma, CIPR diploma or IDM diploma.

VOLUNTEERING ROLE: Graphic Designer & Photo Editor

This volunteering role is ideal for someone with creative flair who is looking to gain valuable work experience in a charity.

You will be studying graphic design or have been a graphic designer. This volunteering role may also appeal to someone returning to work who wants to rebuild their portfolio.

Time Commitment: Flexible hours to be agreed – equivalent to one day a week (minimum)

Location: Flexible to include Kids Inspire Head Office, Fox Crescent, Chelmsford, CM1 2BN

Main tasks:

  • To design new artwork and amend brand literature and artwork for Kids Inspire using brand guidelines and templates. This will include flyers, posters, leaflets and graphics for digital use.
  • The role will also extend to the creation of visual stories and quotes for use on the website and social media, to include editing photos to ensure maximum impact.
  • Any other duties as designated by the Fundraising Manager or Marketing & Communications Officer

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A friendly person who is a team player – able to work independently and part of a team
  • Has a knowledge and experience of graphic design with access to a design package
  • Can prepare design work ready for print
  • Able to work from and interpret a brief
  • Able to bring creativity and flair with good communication skills
  • Someone who can act in a professional manner and understands the need for confidentiality

 CLINICAL PROJECT MANAGER (BAND 8)

Kids Inspire is a registered children’s charity that provides emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children, adults, families and organisations across Essex.  In order to access services through Kids Inspire, there must be a child at the centre and all the adults in the child’s life will be supported as appropriate in order to improve outcomes for the child.  The organisation holds a number of commissioned contracts with the local authority, through health, education and social care.  In addition funds are provided for other specialist projects through grants, trusts and the fundraising activities at Kids Inspire.

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Clinical Project Manager to join the team at Kids Inspire and develop awareness and engagement of our services across Essex.  This exciting opportunity is part funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.

Applicants need to be a car owner to enable them to be able to work in Chelmsford/Basildon and across Essex.

This is an employed role for 3 year’s duration.  37.5 hours per week.  Post holders are able to hold a small case load of service users and qualified supervisors may be able to offer supervision. The successful applicant will report to the Clinical Director.

Salary Band 8.  Pay will be discussed at interview and agreed upon job offer.

The job purpose for this role is overseeing and co-ordinating the Reclaiming Lives Project and other Kids Inspire clinical projects ensuring that they are of an exceptional standard, delivered within BACP/UKCP/HCPC ethical frameworks and meeting the needs of the organisation’s service users.

This new role will involve devising, developing and being able to deliver training and workshops to a range of audiences including young people and professionals in order to raise the profile and understanding of mental health issues and trauma focused therapies.  This role will include supervision and management of the Community Engagement Officer and the Clinical Administration Supervisor.  As part of the Senior Management Team you will contribute to strategy planning and clinical direction of the organisation.

You will need to hold an accredited professional qualification.
