Current Vacancies


We are currently seeking to expand our team and are looking to recruit specialist child, adolescent or adult trained counsellors and psychotherapists.

 The successful candidates will be allocated to a Quadrant Team and will be expected to travel to our head office in Mid-Essex on at least a monthly basis, but the majority of their client work will be based in one of the following localities:

  • North Essex – Colchester, Clacton, Tendring
  • South Essex – Basildon, Billericay and Brentwood
  • Mid Essex – Chelmsford, Braintree and Maldon
  • West Essex – Harlow, Epping Forest and Uttlesford

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who are trained in the following: Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Creative Therapies, Theraplay, DDP, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and other trauma informed therapies and who live close to West, South and North Essex.  Counsellors must hold membership of BACP/UKCP/HCPC/ACP/BAAT.

INSPIRE ESSEX PROJECT MANAGER (Part-time 22.5 hours per week)

Inspire Essex (click here to read more about Inspire Essex), the private arm of the Kids Inspire organisation,  is preparing to launch and requires a Project Manager to lead on all aspects of the set-up. 

The Board are particularly looking for applicants with relevant project management skills and experience. 

Salary, dependent on experience, will range from £35,000 – £40,000 pro rata

Placement Opportunities 

Kids Inspire offer supported placements to counselling and psychotherapy trainees.  Clinical Supervision is available if required with UKCP/BACP/HCPC supervisors.  In addition students are provided with a case manager and are given opportunities to take place in peer supervision groups.

 Volunteer/Placement Opportunities

We welcome applications from trainee and qualified clinicians as listed above willing to offer their time voluntarily in order to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in working with our client groups.
