Kids Inspire 15th Birthday - An evening of affection, gratitude and celebrations

On Friday 23rd September, we held a drinks reception at Cuton Hall, Chelmsford to reflect, celebrate and enjoy the work and accomplishments the charity has achieved over the last 15 years. We are grateful to our hosts, Yvonne Spence, Kids Inspire Trustee and Cllr John Spence who kindly opened their home for us to come together and toast in style to the last fifteen years.

Take a look at our photo gallery below from the event, which was filled with our supporters, ambassadors, the team and special guests who have all helped us along the way.

During the reception, the High Sheriff of Essex attended to support and recognise the work Kids Inspire has achieved over the last fifteen years, he also presented a special service award to our long-term ambassador, mentor and fundraiser, Veronica Mead. We were also delighted that our Patron, Ruthie Henshall was able to attend the event to show her support for the charity.

At the end of the evening, we were treated to a heartfelt speech from our CEO and Clinical Director, Sue Bell. Who spoke about how grateful she was to be standing with everyone, and those who were not in attendance, fifteen years after just an initial idea to help young people with their mental health.

Simon Carpenter, our Chair of Board of Trustee also gave a superb speech, thanking the team and Sue especially for her dedicated and loyal work over the years.

A lovely evening was had by all, and we look forward to future celebrations and events over the next few years as we continue on with our mission to support all children, young people and their families who need it.
