Inspired runners take on the Brentwood Half for Team Kids Inspire

This weekend is the Brentwood Half Marathon and 5k Fun Run, we have a group of inspired runners taking on the challenge in its 40th Anniversary!

“Really haven’t got an extended back story on why I’m doing this to be honest. I decided to train for the half marathon last year just to keep fit and thought I ought to try and raise some money for charity as well.”

David is running for Kids Inspire after starting his training in October 2021 to “keep fit” he felt inspired to run for charity and found us after looking online and finding out about us:

“I’m running for Kids Inspire because it’s a charity in Essex that supports children’s mental health. And that sounds worth doing.” He went on to tell us about a minor hiccup he experienced: “my dog ate through my trainers a few weeks ago but I have been broken the new ones in nicely.”

Good luck David, we wish you all the best.

Iain is also running for Team Kids Inspire after knowing and supporting us for a long time. We wish you lots of luck too!

Lucy, Charlotte, Daniel and William from Fairview New Homes are running the Brentwood Half Marathon next week, hoping to raise £1500 to be split between Kids Inspire and another charity. Wishing you all the best!
