 CLINICAL PROJECT MANAGER (BAND 8)

 Kids Inspire is a registered children’s charity that provides emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children, adults, families and organisations across Essex.  In order to access services through Kids Inspire, there must be a child at the centre and all the adults in the child’s life will be supported as appropriate in order to improve outcomes for the child.  The organisation holds a number of commissioned contracts with the local authority, through health, education and social care.  In addition funds are provided for other specialist projects through grants, trusts and the fundraising activities at Kids Inspire.

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Clinical Project Manager to join the team at Kids Inspire and develop awareness and engagement of our services across Essex.  This exciting opportunity is part funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.

Applicants need to be a car owner to enable them to be able to work in Chelmsford/Basildon and across Essex.

This is an employed role for 3 year’s duration.  37.5 hours per week.  Post holders are able to hold a small case load of service users and qualified supervisors may be able to offer supervision. The successful applicant will report to the Clinical Director.

Salary Band 8.  Pay will be discussed at interview and agreed upon job offer.

The job purpose for this role is overseeing and co-ordinating the Reclaiming Lives Project and other Kids Inspire clinical projects ensuring that they are of an exceptional standard, delivered within BACP/UKCP/HCPC ethical frameworks and meeting the needs of the organisation’s service users.

This new role will involve devising, developing and being able to deliver training and workshops to a range of audiences including young people and professionals in order to raise the profile and understanding of mental health issues and trauma focused therapies.  This role will include supervision and management of the Community Engagement Officer and the Clinical Administration Supervisor.  As part of the Senior Management Team you will contribute to strategy planning and clinical direction of the organisation.

You will need to hold an accredited professional qualification.

 COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER (BAND 5)

 Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career in community fundraising and become part of a successful fundraising team at Kids Inspire?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to establish strong supporter and volunteer relationships, raising vital fundraising income and the profile of Kids Inspire to achieve long term sustainability.

Kids Inspire is a registered children’s charity that provides emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children, adults, families and organisations across Essex.

This a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, working across Essex, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required. You will be reporting to the Fundraising and Communications Manager.

The purpose of this role is to build and develop fundraising relationships in the communities of your defined fundraising area by providing excellent stewardship and support to our volunteers and key supporters to deliver the community fundraising income target.

The key duties and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Pro-actively, recruit, manage and develop supporters and volunteers to achieve agreed targets.
  • Build and manage a fundraising and volunteer pipeline to achieve income targets
  • Take personal responsibility for achieving agreed income, expenditure and KPI’s relating to the role.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is recorded accurately onto the database
  • Ensure all donations are promptly thanked by sending thoughtful and engaging thank you letters and recorded on the database
  • Represent Kids Inspire with confidence in a range of both formal and informal settings
  • Support other fundraising colleagues
  • Contribute to and deliver against annual budget, targets and plans for income and volunteer recruitment, monitoring on-going performance
  • Provide a monthly progress report

You will need to be a confident communicator and be able to raise awareness of Kids Inspire and grow support across Essex.

To be a car owner to enable travel between locations and to hold a clean licence and be covered by business insurance.

This role will also include the recruitment, training, supervision and co-ordination of volunteers to mobilise them to increase income streams via fundraising activities/challenge events.

Finance and Project Manager (Band 8)

Kids Inspire are looking for a Finance and Project Manager to develop and main the smooth running of the charity’s business systems in line with organisational policy, strategy and standards of delivery, specifically around budget, systems, structure and processes that enable Kids Inspire to achieve its mission.  The role will also provide the day-to-day project and operational management of designated staff teams to ensure that staff are well supported to work as a strong, co-ordinated and highly effective team.

Kids Inspire is a registered children’s charity that provides emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children, adults, families and organisations across Essex.

This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week), reporting to the CEO and accountable for General Administrators, Receptionists, and HR Co-Ordinator.  This position would be suitable for a qualified accountant or someone working towards qualification with good computer literacy and experience and track record of managing a team.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of Finance, General Administrators, Receptionists, and HR Coordinator who by delegation are responsible for the day to day operations of business and staff teams
  • Leading on Finance and HR for the charity, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, reviewing and upholding existing policies and systems as well as implementing new processes whilst ensuring that the charity delivers on best practice
  • Produce and review the annual budget
  • Oversee the production of year end accounts
  • Being accountable for strategic performance, management, delivery and development of the charity’s activities
  • Involvement in long term organisational strategic goals
  • Ensuring that the agreed key performance targets of quality, on time delivery, expenditure and productivity are met
  • Ensuring effective administrative systems are in place which support the staff and external agencies
  • Premises management of the main headquarters
  • Taking the lead on the organisation’s infrastructure (delegating day to day activities where appropriate and practical) including:

(a) Charity Governance
(b)Managing relevant
(c)budgetsPolicies and procedures

Contribute to the overall running of the charity as an active member of the senior management team.
